The Trishaw Man is still a familiar site in George Town.

He epitomizes the essence of "Old School "

Penang Road Trishaw Man .

An amended piece of my poetry collection . It was first written about an old building but I changed it to fit this.

Trishaw Man.

An old man's silent cry
Will the sadness seep out like the rain seeps in
Of long lost times and pleasures seen
Of good time girls and big G.I.s
The halcyon days of Jazz and Swing
Let me stay again in memory
Around the dance hall floor
There in a fleeting glance I see
The Drummers and the saxophone play soulfully
lamenting on times long gone
Reminders of the glory days
When every note seemed right and strong
There ain't no sunshine when your gone
